Meet the Therapist

Hello! I'm Ashley Hardy, a Therapist and Clinical Social Worker practicing in Cleveland, OH. I bring a wealth of practical experience from my background in community mental health and mobile crisis response. This work provided me with an intensive, hands-on opportunity to support a truly diverse demographic of individuals through their most complex life challenges and intense struggles.

My practice is rooted in a client-centered and trauma-informed approach. I utilize a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, TF-CBT, ACT, and DBT, while integrating the deeper understanding offered by psychodynamic and existential principles.

Ultimately, I am captivated by the human experience. My greatest passion is empowering clients to shed old constraints and step toward living their most authentic and fully actualized lives.

A little more about me:

I am a Northern Californian turned Clevelander, trading the Pacific Ocean for Lake Erie (where you can find me swimming, paddleboarding and looking for beach glass all summer long with my daughter). When I’m not working, I’m usually lost in a book or film, finding a new recipe to cook for my family or exploring the Metroparks. I am also an avid gardener with a passion for native plants and ecology. I have three cats who sometimes like to make a guest appearance during our sessions. They’re great listeners, and I promise they keep everything we talk about strictly confidential (they’re very professional like that).
